Pipeshield Completes Successful Load-Out for Saipem

Tekmar Group business unit, Pipeshield International is proud to announce the successful completion of a significant load-out operation for Saipem, marking a important milestone in the Greater Tortue Ahmeyim (GTA) – SURF project, located on the maritime border of Mauritania and Senegal.

This project involved the supply of 839 concrete bi-flex and uni-flex mattresses of varying thicknesses and designs. These mattresses are essential components for subsea protection and stabilization, providing robust and reliable solutions tailored to the specific needs of the Greater Tortue Ahmeyim (GTA) – SURF project.

The contract was executed over multiple stages, with four batches being loaded out between February and August 2024. The operation was meticulously planned and carried out to meet the stringent timelines and quality standards required by Saipem for this high-profile offshore development.
